The Fascination of the night sky - ever since my youth

I was born in Lower Bavaria in 1982 and discovered my passion for the starry sky at an early age. I got my first real spark of interest as a teenager when my father gave me a newtonian telescope—and that was it; I was hooked.

 

Even at school, I couldn’t shake my interest in the subject: In high school, I took an elective in astronomy and further deepened my knowledge there. As is often the case, there was then a long hiatus during which other things took priority.

 

Eventually, however, the fascination took hold of me again—and so I finally bought a 10" Dobsonian telescope. That’s how I took my first astrophotos, and from then on, I kept moving further into astrophotography. Little by little, I added more equipment and delved deeper and deeper into the technology and its possibilities.

 

Since 2022, I’ve also been a sales partner at Svbony, which allows me to share my experience directly. Another special interest of mine is the astro-modification of Canon DSLR cameras, which I modify and optimize myself to get even more out of astrophotography.

 

For me, astronomy today is the perfect blend of technology, fascination, and wonder at the universe—and that’s exactly what I want to share with others.
